While the Sansa doesn't look like much, it matches the iPod Nano gig-for-gig (up to 4GB) and touts additional features like an FM tuner, voice recorder, and compatibility with subscription music services such as Rhapsody. While the pear-shaped body is anything but stylish and the barely backlit screen is the dimmest of the bunch, the player gets the most out of a AAA battery and has big buttons that are easy to navigate during a run. Overall, it's a good choice for runners on a budget.
