There are currently about 30 facilities around the country that provide cutting-edge gait retraining services to the public. Here are some ways to find a clinic, if you don't live near one of those listed below.
* Contact the exercise science department of your local university.
* Look for advertisements in local/regional publications catering to runners and endurance athletes.
* Contact a local physical therapy clinic specializing in sports injury rehabilitation.
* Do an Internet search with keywords "runners," "biomechanical analysis," and the name of your city and state.
* Ask fellow runners, a local coach, or the sales staff at your favorite running specialty store.
