----- The Marathon Course ----- The marathon course begins in the beautiful Montana countryside of Frenchtown, Montana. The course follows the Frenchtown Valley and the Clark Fork River into the City of Missoula. Run along tree-lined streets into the grand finish in Downtown Missoula. . USATF certification . (paved and flat with one hill) ----- The Half Marathon Course ----- The half marathon course begins on Blue Mountain road, merges with the marathon course on River Pines Road near the Bitterroot River and and finishes in Downtown Missoula. ----- Kids Marathon ----- Kids can do it! You will receive a registration packet, including a log to keep track of your miles. Prior to race day, walk or run one mile at a time. Mark it on your log. Stop when you have completed 25 miles. On Marathon Day, come run or walk your final 1.2 miles!
