The newest Richardson tradition, the Gobble Hobble 5K and Family Fun Run is a community-wide event that benefits Neighborhood Youth & Family Counseling of Richardson (NYFC). NYFC serves as Richardson's Crime Victims¿ Assistance Program. This 5K run and one-mile walk, organized by Central Health and Wellness, is scheduled for November 22, 2008 at Galatyn Park. We invite you to come run, walk, or watch the pre-Thanksgiving festivities as people of all ages come Gobble Hobble. The Gobble Hobble will start and finish at Galatyn Park, Richardson¿s 500-acre mixed-use, rail-transit-oriented development located near the intersection of the President George Bush Turnpike (SH 190) and Central Expressway in Richardson. The course will continue into the Galatyn Woodland Preserve, passing by the DART light rail, and through the heart of the Telecom Corridor.
