Highlights:The 6th annual �Friends on the 4th� 5K will be held on Friday, July 4 at 8 a.m. at the Winthrop American Legion on Bowdoin St. Race day registration starts at 7 a.m. Open to all runners, joggers and walkers, most of the course is run along the eastern shore of beautiful Maranacook Lake. Pre-registration is highly recommended � it�s only $17 and guarantees a free T-shirt. Registration on race day is $20. Over 500 runners are anticipated for this year�s race.
