4k loop course throughout the Lanesville area, beginning and ending at the Lanesville Community Center. Course is mostly flat, tree-lined streets as well as passage by the historic, picturesque Lanes Cove. The roads will NOT be closed to traffic but busiest areas will only allow traffic in one direction with other lane reserved for runners. Traffic monitors to stop traffic at cross roads. Some uneven surfaces along Lanes Cove Road and a few sharp turns. Race price includes BBQ and participation in all other events. Prizes for top 3 men, top 3 women and top male and female Lanesville residents. No frills, non-electronic timing. No bikes, roller blades, wheeled vehicles. Those who register by June 15 will get 5 free raffle tickets for the 11:15 am Runners Raffle.
