A new release that receives high marks from the RW Shoe Lab, from wear-testers and from RW editors. While as-yet unproven over the long haul, the shoe represents a promising new addition to its category.

Runner's World Awards: Best Debut

We say: In the Junga, the Shox's columns and independent forefoot pods allow the shoe to react to and absorb different trail obstacles (similar to a car's suspension). This construction also makes the shoe very flexible, as confirmed by RW Shoe Lab tests, despite a protective fabric plate between the pods and the midsole. The upper is made with a breathable mesh, while flexible bands connect the laces to the midsole for a snug arch fit. Recommended for runners with normal to high arches who frequently run on rocky, uneven trails.
