We say: This shoe from The North Face has firmer-density foam through the arch to help control pronation and firmer foam along the entire perimeter of the forefoot for more stability later in the gait cycle. This makes the Radial a good option for runners who first see wear on the outer edge of their shoes. The Radial also features an air pad in the heel for enhanced cushioning. Even with the added air, the shoe still received a firmer-than-average cushioning score in our lab tests. Recommended for runners with low to normal arches looking for a hybrid trail shoe for road and trail.
