We say: The latest Precision comes with some big changes. First, the outsole under the heel has more flex grooves to better isolate and disperse impact. Mizuno also widened the Wave plate for added cushioning in the heel, softened it through the arch, and firmed it up on the sides to better guide the foot as it moves through the gait cycle. RW Shoe Lab tests verified that these updates have indeed improved the shoe's cushioning. Recommended for biomechanically efficient, normal- and high-arch runners who need a well-cushioned shoe for training and longer-distance racing.

The back of these shoes is too stiff. I started getting achilles bursitis not long after starting running in these, even though my running routine had not changed significantly. Everything depends on preference, but I am leary of buying another pair of mizunos now..

First time I used runners world to match me with the proper shoe. With that said, it makes a big difference. Feet and joints feel better after long runs. Love the light weight with just enough control and cushion. I would buy again..
