Runner's World Awards: Best Update

WE SAY: In this outstanding update, two plastic plates in the midsole under the heel spread the force of impact over a wider area (think mattress box spring). This system, seen previously in Adidas's high-end motion-control shoes, provides good impact protection and a bit of added stability. The shoe also features a seamless mesh lining for improved comfort. We recommend the Cushion 6 for average-weight runners with normal to high arches who need a lot of impact protection.

Loved these shoes because of their superior cushioning, but it seemed like they went flat in a matter of a week. These shoes lasted only about 300 miles and I hurt my knee because of this..

Comfy right out of the box. Wide toe box. Cushy ride. No break in time. Like the sliding heel thingy. Kinda brought my feet in for a landing every step..

I loved the way this show fit in the store. I got it home and ran with it the first time. Since the sockliner is not perfectly tapered, I got a long blister right where my heel contacted with the sockliner. I promptly returned the shoes. I was also not inpressed with the response of the shoe, as it was touted to have great response..

I really enjoyed the Supernova 4 because it came in width also. By going to the seamless lining the Super 6 fits like the wider predecessor. Offroad the Super 6 was just too soft, I felt every twig and pebble. A great paved surface trainer for high arches and wide forefoot..
