Runner's World Shoe Lab Test Results

WE SAY: The new Praya features a plug of softer foam in the heel and forefoot, which helps make it the softest shoe in this guide, according to our Shoe Lab tests. Because it is built on a different last (foot form) than the Japara, Etonic's stability shoe, the Praya has a more snug feel around the foot. Another nice feature: the stay-tied laces shaped like sausage links. We recommend this shoe for lightweight runners with high arches looking for a well-cushioned training shoe.

Wear Tester Reviews

WEAR-TESTERS SAY: "Excellent cushioning, especially in the forefoot."--Keith Carnes, 48, East Lansing

"The laces stayed tied, and the cushioning was fine without being spongy."--Steve Budlong, 39, Allentown
