As with its sibling, the Trigon Guide, the heel of the Ride comes with ProGrid cushioning, which resembles rows of tiny empty cubes. These cubes compress at heel impact to disperse contact forces without passing them on to the rest of the midsole. The end result is a smoother ride and a more lightweight shoe. We recommend the Ride for runners with high arches looking for plenty of cushioning.
