Saucony ProGrid Guide
Manufacturer: Saucony
Price: $90
Reviewed in: Jun 2008 Shoe Guide
The shoe formerly known as the Trigon Guide hasn't really been changed enough to warrant a new name, and that's a good thing. The new mesh in the upper is closer-fitting, which testers really liked. Many noted how it was comfortably snug in the heel and midfoot, and roomy in the forefoot without feeling too wide. Our Lab tests found the forefoot stiff, but not enough for our wear-testers to notice. We recommend the Guide for runners with normal arches looking for a basic trainer with enough stability to control mild overpronation.
