We Say: Puma has been making an effort to improve the cushioning of its shoes, and that's the main difference in this year's update of the Phasis. The midfoot area is reinforced up to the big toe joint, to help counter late-stage pronation. The shoe's mesh upper comes with few overlays, so your chances of developing blisters are low. Our female wear-testers especially like the snug heel and ample room in the forefoot. We recommend this shoe for moderate overpronators looking for a responsive yet stable shoe. Available February 15.
Wear-Testers Say: "I really enjoyed the cushioning in the heel and the way the shoe fit my arch." -Tessa Taylor, 23, East Lansing
"The shoe felt lightweight and comfortable, yet it has good support." -Lisa Aderhold, 40, Allentown

I have always loved Pumas and when I dislocated my ankle, I had to find motion control shoes for running. It works great with my orthodics..
