We say: For some runners, the Response Extra could work as a lightweight motion-control shoe because of the supportive coating on the medial (inner) side and the plastic bridge that runs through the arch for added stability. The outsole is reinforced with durable carbon rubber in the key impact areas of the heel and forefoot. RW Shoe Lab tests showed good shock dispersion at heel-strike and a smooth, responsive heel-to-toe transition. Recommended for average-weight runners looking for a lightweight, well-cushioned stability shoe.
