Runner's World Shoe Lab Test Results

We Say: The Air unit in the heel of this update was redesigned to maximize cushioning, yet our Shoe Lab data showed that the shoe remains firm. Nike added a firmer, lower-profile Zoom Air unit in the forefoot for a more responsive toe-off. The outsole comes with carbon rubber in the heel for durability, and softer blown rubber in the forefoot for better cushioning. The shoe features a flexible forefoot, especially the women's version. Recommended for runners who are tough on their heels and require a firm, high-performance shoe.
