Jun 2006 Shoe Guide
We say: The updated Trigon Ride midsole features Saucony's Grid technology (see page 109) plus a softer wedge of foam in the heel for enhanced cushioning. The heel also uses pods in the outsole to help isolate and distribute impact forces. Saucony removed several overlays from the upper to improve fit, and made the forefoot grooves less pronounced to improve cushioning at toe-off. Recommended for runners with normal arches who need a sturdy, well-cushioned shoe.
Wear-testers say: "I liked the shoe, but it could be softer in the forefoot." --Cindy Moore, 21, East Lansing
"They were so breathable I could feel the cool air coming in." --Michelle Sames, 30, Allentown
